yesterday, at the shizuoka station, we saw some high school-ish girls talking about us (or, at least, i did). I thought they were just talking bad about us behind our back, but they were actually saying "ya~! so no co kawaii, ne! so no america-jin kawaii ne!" (sorry, i don't have japanese on this computer TT__TT) which means "wow~! that girl is so cute! those american people are so cute!" i guess that means they don't hate us... and that they don't think we're the fattest, laziest, most unmannered people here. so, that's good. now, whenever i'm down, i'm going to think of them. yay! ^__^

they respect us.
anyways, the reason why we were there in the first place was to go to what zak and kyle thought was "some stupid art museum". i didn't think it was going to be that fun, either... i just wanted to get the guys away from their video games and outside in the fresh, japanese air~!
anyways, it turned out to not be an art museum, but a science museum. and wow, it was really cool! don't think it was just for little kids-the other people we saw there were probably in high school or college. anyways, since it was so empty, (us and about 5 other people; 3 floors) we really got the full experience. there were so many workers there to help us, since we couldn't read kanji. there was one where you got to go on a spinning platform, you just kept spinning and spinning. i wish i could go back! i hope it's not always that empty, or it'll get bankrupt. or maybe not-i've never seen a science museum out of business... but i'm sure it can happen.
aside from my sidetracking, i also went on a hamster wheel-type thing. kyle and zak couldn't, since they were wearing sandals. they took a picture of me, which i WILL NOT post here because i look silly.
there was another one, where it was just a pitch-black maze. you had to feel around with your hands to see where you were. the cool thing, though, was that with a night-camera, you could laugh at/with the person that was in the maze while they went backwards, felt a wall, then started going forward again. at first, i was too scared, but when we came back again, i did it.
there were a lot more, and we would've taken pictures, but we forgot the camera.
